Checkmk 2.5.0 offers many improvements in usability and functionality. Here’s what you can expect in the new version of Checkmk:

  • A cleaner interface: A new search function now finds search terms across all Checkmk components.
  • Activate changes with improved usability: Pending changes are now displayed in the navigation bar. Clicking on them opens a slideout that overlays the currently open page. After activating the changes, you’ll return to where you were last working.
  • Podman-Monitoring: Checkmk 2.5.0 can now also monitor the Podman container runtime.
  • The Checkmk Relay: The Relay (Checkmk Ultimate only) also allows you to monitor devices via SNMP or a special agent that are not directly accessible from the Checkmk server.
  • Revamped OpenTelemetry Monitoring: OpenTelemetry Monitoring (Checkmk Ultimate only) has undergone a major upgrade. In particular, the new metrics backend contributes to a significant performance boost.
